Job Purpose :

To manage and coordinate transportation resources, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods while maintaining compliance with safety, legal, and operational standards. Acts as the key liaison between drivers, warehouse, operations teams, and customers to optimize delivery schedules, monitor performance, and resolve issues proactively.

 

Key Accountabilities :


Scheduling & Coordination
• Assigns drivers, trucks, and equipment to loads or service jobs, taking into account route efficiency, vehicle capacity, and priority shipments.
• Optimizes schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, supporting operational and customer requirements.
• Monitors and adjusts assignments in real-time to respond to unexpected delays or changes in demand.

Documentation
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date dispatch logs, delivery records, trip reports, and load documents (e.g., BOLs, delivery notes, manifests).
• Ensures all documentation is completed correctly and submited promptly to support operational tracking, invoicing, and regulatory compliance.

Compliance

• Ensures drivers comply with schedules, traffic laws, and company policies. Verifies adherence to safety regulations and legal requirements, including handling of hazardous materials, customs paperwork, or other regulatory documentation.
• Implements processes to prevent non-compliance and reduce operational risk. Adhere to QHSE standards to ensure safe, high-quality, and environmentally responsible contract operations.
• Adhere to Group Compliance Manual & SOPs.
• Comply with Ethics and Compliance policies to ensure TAQA operates with integrity, transparency, and the highest ethical standards.
• Compliance with Supply chain standards.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

 Serves as the primary point of contact between drivers, warehouse, operations teams, and customers. Communicates delivery requirements, changes, or delays effectively to drivers and stakeholders.
• with internal and external parties to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of issues.

Spend Management & Efficiency Monitoring

• Monitors job progress to minimize downtime and lost time incidents (LTI), ensuring that pickups and deliveries are completed on schedule.
• Identifies botlenecks, route issues, or inefficiencies and implements corrective actions in real-time to maintain operational efficiency and reduce costs.

 

Qualifications : 

Required : Diploma

 

Experience : 
Required : 0-01 years of experience in relevant field
Preferred : OFSE Industry experience
